Depth Of Vision

Digital photography is cheap once you have the camera and manipulating the digital images is also easy once you have a computer. This make stereoscopic photography cheap and easy and I have been experimenting.

I don't have a lot to say on the subject in this first post other than that these images must be viewed with a stereoscope as they are presented below unless you know how to view them with what is known as the parrallel viewing method which allows naked eye viewing. I will convert images so that they can be viewed via the cross eyed method which means simply reversing the left and right images. This is much easier for most people to learn and I use this method along with using a couple different style stereoscopic I have...I'll elaborate on that more later. There is a substantial amount of information on stereoscopic photography on the internet. I have also made a number of anaglyphs from my photos and this was my first method as I got the bug after visiting NASA's JPL mars site. Anaglyph a name for the red blue glasses style 3d of '59s 3D movie fame. You can make your own 3D glasses for next to nothing from sheets of colored acetate.
